FAC filters are warranted to be free from manufacturer's defects in material, workmanship and in accordance with the terms and conditions described below:

 

FAC filters meet the standard requirements and are tested in accordance with the ISO, JIS, ES test procedures.

 

Warranties are effective when FAC filters are used in accordance to the engine manufacturer's change intervals. Our warranty ends 12 month from replacement date and/or on expiry of the operating period recommended by the vehicle/engine and/or equipment manufacturer (whichever is the nearest) in any event, latest 18 months from delivery to our customers (resellers).

 

In the event of engine failure directly caused by a defective FAC filter, which was properly installed and changed following the engine manufacturer's recommended service intervals and was in accord with current FAC replacement instructions. FAC warranty includes reasonable cost reimbursement for any engine damage caused solely and directly by FAC product defect due to our fault.

 

Claims for engine repairs provided under this warranty must be submitted within 30 days after discovery of damage. FAC Technical Department reserves the right to examine the engine and filter to determine the amount of damage and whether or not it was caused by a defective FAC filter. This warranty DOES NOT COVER any product that has been subjected to unreasonable or misuse, neglect, negligence or accident, or that has been improperly maintained, operated or installed. The warranty DOES NOT APPLY to any damage to the product that is the result of rust or corrosion.

 

The pre-requisite for warranty and/or liability claim includes adherence to the prescribed or recommended installation/maintenance and exchange instructions on the part of the vehicle/engine and/or equipment manufacturer.
